One aspects that is sometimes questioned the blog in its educational use is its verticality, the fact that the writing and production is in that direction and in most cases by individual authorship, collaborative blogs are a minority in the network, although trends can change with practice. All these tasks 2.0 give a lot of satisfaction to both students and potential outcomes of their activities in class or at home, both individually and collectively.
Therefore, throughout this work, has been given to multi-use blog: vertical writing entries on their own blogs, reticular to be all blogs connected and, finally, horizontal in the development of various collaborative text generated as a final task. It would be like a blog-wiki-redsolcial.
But the use of blogs in education is not always desirable, it all depends on the type of student who will work with this tool. Perhaps the student profile is the best mold intensive courses, semester or yearly, either submerged or not. I believe that the outcome with intensive students, which are frequently used in immersion, those who are half a month in schools or language centers, given the performance of individual blogs too low for the effort and time has to get used to this type of work.
